It is days before Christmas. She is sitting on a bench at the local train station looking at her phone. The train will be coming to take her to the place where she will spend Christmas. She sits and watches train after train after train, but then her train has come. She boards the train, and she is headed to her place where she will spend Christmas. She will open her presents as she watches the train go around the tree. When Christmas comes to an end, she will wait for the train… again and ride it back home.
The train takes her from her monotonous world to a place of peace, and the train brings her back to that same monotonous world.
Many of you will be taking the train to your Christmas destination, and you will be taking the train back home. Then there are those who must work on the train to make sure the passengers get to their destinations. Then there are those who will be at their favorite train watching spot watching those trains go by. To all of you, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
