The Journey of a Train

Every day, a train is beginning its journey at a train yard.  The train is put together, and it heads down the track to it next destination.  Some train haul freight while some transport passengers.  You have the yard workers who put the trains together.  You have the mechanics who work to keep the locomotives and rolling stock together and working properly.  You have the engineers who operate the locomotives.  You have the track workers who work to keep the tracks in good shape to prevent any derailments.  If the train derails, you have those who work around the clock to keep the tracks clear.  You have those who work the signals to make sure the trains have a safe and clear journey.

You have the conductors who helps the passengers on and off the trains.  You have the baggage handlers, and you have the porters making sure your overnight is a pleasurable one.  As for your meal, you cannot forget the waiters and the chefs.  All of the journey begins with the ticket master who gives you the ticket to ride the train.

On this Labor Day, remember everyone who labors to keep the trains running.
